Social responsibility, what is it?
Social responsibility is
when a company embraces in its projects donations to people who need help.
Social responsibility
refers to the posture and actions that companies adopt, voluntarily, generating social well-being. A socially
responsible organization is one that has a form of ethical and transparent
management putting into practice projects aimed at the benefit of society.
It also operates at two
levels: the internal level, which encompasses the employees and people who are
directly involved in the company, and the external level which encompasses the
people who are indirectly linked to the organization, such as society in
general and the community in which the company is inserted.
Voluntary donations are when
companies encourage their employees to practice charity of various kinds, such
as help for orphaned or needy children, and support for people with disabilities
and the elderly, among others.
It is estimated that more
than a million people around the world go hungry, or even have nowhere to live.
So,
companies do the social part by helping these people who are living on the
margins of society, such as people who live on the streets, people who live in
the poorest communities on the planet.
In fact, all of us who
should help your neighbor, do not let us wait on the part that has a lot, start
helping people in need, for example by making donations of perishable and
non-perishable food so that we can alleviate hunger in the world.
It is not only in poorer
countries that they need donations; check in your neighborhood, in your city,
help people who need food or clothing.
The population itself can
help, for example, by making community soups for homeless people.
Do your part, even with a
hug and a word of comfort, that is, not only do you donate money, but you also
give love.
